Through the Window

There are some mornings when I am able to take some time to myself, to take things slowly, and to wander around downtown, looking through shop windows.

I am often surprised by the reflections on the glass,

where a splash of sunlight can land in a room,

the beauty of glass through glass,

how inviting a closed restaurant can be,

and the colorful objects that catch my eye.

I am also delighted when I discover others who are getting an early start, too.
