I was thankful to have a little help from the sun this morning.
I found warmth and soft light in the library on a chilly morning.

On this morning, as I set my camera to take a photo of the light streaming in through our back windows, our daughter walked up and waited for me to finish. She was just outside of the frame of the photo and I asked her to take a few steps forward and stand in the sunlight. While waiting for me, she looked down at the little pumpkin in her hands and I captured this image.
This morning, an image from this time last year caught my attention.
Our pup knows who to visit for a snack at our table; her food buddy is the best bet!
Today is the first day of fall, day 300 of my third 365 photo project, and my 100th blog post all wrapped into one.
She wanted to wear braids today; it is school picture day, after all.
I closed my laptop this morning and used pencil and paper to gather my thoughts; it is refreshing to disconnect sometimes.
